ugh

Yo, I am watching a BBC America show called “The Beatles Biggest Secrets”.  As a Beatles fan for many years, through reading many many books/ magazine articles/ watching many interviews, etc, I think I have a pretty good general understanding of the Beatles history.  But this show…. holy crap!  Well, it’s a sensationalized, seems to me often false, take on what happened.  I suppose the stories are spun to be “secrets”, thus more marketable.  

Anyway, my thought which prompted me to write this fabulous post was that what if this is what happened for Jesus, yo??  Like what if Jesus did the stuff that he did, but then in the retelling of his story, people aggrandized, sensationalized, and whateverized it to meet their own needs.  Ugh.  And if so, OK, hopefully at the core, we can dig that Jesus was all good… but then you have those goofs following those scriptures word for word, without a second thought.

Just makes me see how vulnerable we are.
